    Identify this old crane?

bad news--the guy who owns the crane has sold the land that it's sitting on, and it looks like the whole thing might get dragged over to the neighbor's, for an unknown future. If anyone wants anything off of it really bad, PM me and I'll get you the current owner's info.

    Lunette compatability?

could there be another issue with the surge brake or axle that's giving you problems? Something hanging or dragging to make you worry about what your trailer is doing to your truck's drivetrain? Whenever I've worried about too much trailer for the vehicle, the problem seems to manifest itself in...

    Deuce tire/rim break down.

OK, I'll bite. Why your left hand? Is the right hand the one you want to keep?

    Code Enforcement

Making noise in the morning blows "Live and let Live" out of the water for me. If they had identified who they were, would you have buried the hatchet, or parked closer to their bedroom window?

    Cell Phones

If the fish cops can take your gun and your truck for threatening those which are under their protection, why can't D.O.T. cops? The Answer: The majority of the population doesn't care about hunting laws; those that do care are either sportsmen that obey the laws, or poachers. A law with large...

    Cell Phones

That's interesting. My first motorcycle accident was the other driver's fault, and I did my 3-second airshow without a helmet. I wear one every time now, and my state doesn't have a helmet law. Is the root of our problem a lack of training?

    Running oil in a Deuce?

are you kidding? when I took my lines loose, I thought they took different size wrenches to take them loose. I assumed the fittings were different sizes as well. A lot of guys who never use the heater just cap those lines off and go... wonder why switching them would cause you to lose power.

DO NOT CHALLENGE THE WRECKERMAN! He might be running a proprietary blend that would knock some city folk out for the night with just a sip or two.rofl

    Running oil in a Deuce?

Hey man, I already spend too much time on KSL's site...One thing I might watch for is it popping out during your pre-start test for hydrostatic lock. If you're eyeballing it, it may come out enough for you to grab on with channel locks and then you're set!:jumpin:

    Watch out for straps

what was that movie with Cuba Gooding Jr as a Navy Diver? Didn't a cable take his leg?

    Watch out for straps

Ron makes a good point, in that no one is suggesting using a cable. I know why I don't use a cable--I don't have the experience to feel qualified to use it. You hear stories about cables snapping, it seems like it's the worst of both worlds (chains and straps). Of course, sometimes we get...

    Running oil in a Deuce?

you're messin with Murphy on that one. What I would do first is maybe hit the accessory switch to have the in-tank pump charge the system, see if that pressure forces it out. If not, have soldier B bump the heater switch. After that, maybe look at forcing it off under engine power. I'm not as...

    Running oil in a Deuce?

It can be removed on the truck, there's 2 springs and another internal part inside of there, the springs do not put much pressure (if any) on that end piece while you're taking it off. since the o-ring is compromised, it makes it a bit easier to slide the end cap off. My approach was to take...

    Running oil in a Deuce?

jersey jeep, reference my post, you need to replace an O-ring in the near future! Good luck, it's a super easy fix. It will take 5-10 minutes.
