The reason why I opted for the M1008 was because it had the Dana 60 and Coporate 14 bolt. The 1/2 ton axles that come on a M1009 will grenande when you put any big tires under it.

A lot of tow truck companies out here in the Los Angeles area have rotators. But the have to pay about half a million for one, where as a military wrecker I have seen go for about $10,000 the last time I looked on GL.
