Great info fellas.
Tomelroy - I'd love to hear more reviews of the conversion once you get more time to drive it. With my current set up I don't really like to drive over 50-55mph due to RPM's. So I'm curious what your new comfort speed is with the 700r4. Please keep us updated. Thanks!
Also...
I've heard of strength being an issue as well. But is that really an issue behind a 165hp engine? 700R4's were put behind much higher HP engines then that, right?
A lower first gear, and my usable Highway speeds would be amazing to me. But again, wanting to see if anybody here has done this swap with this kit. Maybe that price tag isn't worth it, I don't know. I do know that I read on the 4L60E upgrade, and I want no part of that project.
Guess I don't know if that's a good deal, and part of this discussion. For a guy like myself who does not rebuild transmissions, or fabricate parts, for me to have a 4 speed transmission added to my Humvee, I'd pay the $3300 assuming its a good kit.
Curious if anybody has purchased this conversion kit from this company, and how it went for you?

$3300 seems like a fair deal for having a 4 speed transmission in one of these.
I appreciate your help, but have to completely disagree that its not a Govplanet issue. I realize you are waiting on a supplier of the paperwork, but you in fact continue to sell these items as if its just normal business with the same standard statements about the SF97.
If you all stopped...
I find it funny that they are running an all Humvee auction today..............Zero concern for not being able to provide the paperwork they are going to sell to 400 people today. Evidently us that are waiting aren't being noisy enough......
After about 9 weeks of waiting for my SF97 and Montana title, I decided to email customer service to see what the status was............... Their response was the DLA just provided them an update today and that they are waiting on materials.............. WTF, are you telling me they are out of...
Really appreciate it. Data plate says M998. I will look tonight on the t-case to see what that plate says, and should be able to run with your info from there. Its the front driveshaft I'm needing it for, so I will make sure to get the correct one. Thanks again.
