M916 maiden voyage from Texarkana TX to Richmond VA

I was a little worried with a month and no posts. I figured you were flaming in a ditch somewhere. Glad everything worked out, as i it did. Sounds like an awesome trip. I hope, (well know) I'll have a journey like this in the future. Can't wait to hear the rest.

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

I got my injectors tested. They were all about 220 bar or 3200psi. it does run a lot better with the Fuel turned up a bit. Starts a little easier but mainly it feels better when driving. I don't feel like I have to wring the motor out as bad. No black smoke but more of a light to medium gray...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Backing up is easy. When you stop going backwards its time to go forward.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Mine had some backup damage when I got it. I guess soldier b wasn't paying attention.

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

I was just thinking, could this be a symptom of a bad or stuck fdc?

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

No, you're thinking of the right one. It's only supposed to be out an eight of an inch. I adjusted it back to an eight and it wouldn't even start with the pedal to the floor. So I put it back to where it was and then went out another 6 flats. At that point it would attempt to start without any...

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

OK. Update #2. I checked my droop screw and found about a half an inch of threads hanging out. Got things to do right now but I'll post back later.

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

OK. I may have narrowed down my starting problem but I'll let the experts decide. I decided to change my filters again just to be sure. Primed the system, and it still started the same way. Took it out for a spin and noticed no difference. However, this time when I parked it I shut the engine...

    transmission problems

I'm with jeepsinker on this. If something mechanical was wrong such as a gear problem, you would be completely disconnected from the drive train. If your clutch was completely smoked like someone had just held it to the wood with it slipping for an hour, then it could be a clutch. But yeah it...

That's impressive. If I can get even close to that I'd be happy.

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

Is there a range of psi where they are considered OK or should they pop at 3k and no less? Thanks.

How easy does your multifuel deuce start?

Thanks for all the replies. I just tried letting the pump run for a minute before starting. I had the hold the pedal down as always when cranking to start but it didn't run as rough when it first starts as it usually does. I'm still going to get the injectors tested when I get time. I'll be sure...

Yup. Seems like someone dropped the ball. Or realized it in the 11th hour and kept quiet.
