This truck is being advertised for sale in England for a price of £6,500 ($12,250). The guy said it's had a three year body off restoration, complete sandblast and re-paint. I have noticed some things that don't look right about it though.
1) There seems to be a big gap between the hood and the...
Result, got a Deuce Operators Manual off Ebay for £1.50. Came from a USAF base in England. Dated 1976.
I am now in the process of reading it cover to cover. Better than loading up my CD-ROM on computer.
All I need now is the truck to go with it!! :)
Well, after about 3 years of not being able to get hold of Marltrax on and off, I sort of gave up hope that they were still in business. I have been trawling the for sale adds for an M35A2 to no avail. There just doesn't seem to be any for sale over here at the moment.
So yesterday, I sent them...
M54A2C Pictures. What do you think??
Right, I have finally got the pictures of the M54A2C that is for sale over here in the UK. The truck is for sale at a price of $10,000 USD or near offer (£5,750)
What do you guys think of this truck? Please give me as much imput as you can, on the condition...
I am looking at this M54A2C that is for sale. There are a few things I would like to probe your expert minds on if I may?
The first is he said there is a re-build plate that says TEAD 12-88. Has anyone got any information on what this means???
Secondly, he told me the winch looks in A1...
This truck has come up for sale in the UK today. I have emailed the guy who owns it. Do you guys think that this sounds a good deal. I do have a few questions though.
What is the NSN number for this truck with a winch? If the truck NSN says for example that it is an M54-A2 w/out winch, but this...
Here is a picture of a Volvo NL10 tractor unit. This is one of the trucks I used to drive when I was with the United Nations. It was a good truck, but you can't see for yards in front with the big bonnet in the way.
The truck next to it is a Bedford MJ 4 tonner. This is the standard 4 ton truck...
This is a picture I took when I was in the Army, detatched to the United Nations. I went for trips in this Huey on numerous occasions and the Pilot never dissapointed as he was always willing to show what it could do. I always got the side seat, so I could be as near to the outside as I could...
Here is a picture of a White Water Purification Unit I took a few years ago. Can anyone tell me if these trucks were actually used in this role? I have never seen them in any service photo's?
Cheers
Andy
Tell me what you guys think of this truck for sale in the UK? I think she looks very clean, if not a little over priced for the truck she is, but still, looks to be in very good condition. And you get a trailer too.

Has anyone got any photo's of the M51 with the rear canvas cover fitted? I am interested to see what it looks like, as there is one for sale in the UK, but the pictures I've seen don't show the truck with the cover on.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Cheers
Andy
I have read with interest Cranetrucks reply in a previous post about the difference between the 5ton and 2.5ton multifuel engines.
Can anyone else elaborate on this. I have always thought that the 5ton and 2.5ton engines were the same. Are there any other differences apart from pistons...
Hi Guys.
I have a question reguarding the M51 5 Ton Dumper.
Can this vehicle be fitted with bows and rear canvas as standard, does it require a modification, or can't a canvas load cover be fitted at all?
Cheers,
Andy
What is the difference between the A1, A2 and A3 series M35's? Is it to do with newer upgrades, or has it to do with what type of model it is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Andy
Here are a few pictures I took while driving back to the depot in my truck a few months ago. On the back is a Challenger 2 MBT. These trucks have just entered service with the British Army in the last few years. The trucks are, in fact, part of a PFI contract (Private Finance Initiative) and are...
Here is the picture of the 18ton German half Track. It's not a very good one I know, I have some close up pictures of it somewhere, I will dig them out. The guy spent £1,000,000 doing it up, and it's the only one in existance. It's a priceless vehicle.
Just wondering if anyone with some video footage (with sound) of the M35A2 series trucks with the turbo "whistler" engine is able to post it on here?
I have seen the ones already in the video section, but would like some of the truck with the turbo whistle loud in the video. It's so that I can...
Just wondered if there were any restrictions buying or owning Military Vehicles in the States? I know different States have different laws.
In the UK, we can more or less drive anything on a public highway, including Tracked Armour (Abbott 105 self propelled gun, 432 etc). All the wheeled...
If any of you guys are coming over to the UK this year, try to come when the War and Peace show is on at Beltring. It's in Kent, about an hours drive from London. It's just the best show ever.
