I bought a injection pump. The new pump only has the shaft in the front and nothing else. I am trying to this part. I am needing some guidance for exactly how to remove and install this shaft guide and the gear from the old pump to the new one. The IP TM doesn't even say anything about it.
I am not able to find any direct information on nozzle replacement, such as torque needed when installing a new nozzle. Apparently I replaced mine incorrectly.
Today I was trying to pop test my injectors. I gave a old used tester, there was absolutely no chatter when testing, can I get a new spring and new nozzle and see if it fixes the problem?

I used a cheap kline borescope today to look at the pistons while I am rebuilding the injectors. To me I'm afraid they may need replaced. I would rather have some help. The images aren't the best.
Please forgive my lack of knowledge. On the subject of head gasket issues would there be any advantage to making a O-ring groove block to help with head gasket issues? Also is it possible to run a oring and fire ring gasket?
I've pulled my injectors to rebuild. I cannot find information for the direction this part faces. Does the bevel face the nozzle or the inlet of the injector? I don't trust the previous rebuild.
I recently turned the fuel up by 3 flats on my m35a2 and it now doesn't even try to start. The HH was rebuilt a few months ago. I'm running pure WMO. Batteries are turning over the starter well.
Any ideas what would cause this?

I was in the middle of rebuilding the parking brake and noticed it is missing a E retainer clip. Are there any hardware stores that might stock the large ones? Or should I just order from a military parts supplier?
