    M1009 lift job

Question for you guys: Is the main reason you'd lift your CUCV for tire clearance, or for aesthetics? Personally I like the height of my 1009, but wouldn't mind slightly bigger tires.

I went for the first time last year an got a few bargains in the barracks, but a good portion of the stuff is reenactment related, which I'm not really into. The public battle was kinda interesting. The best part was watching the squirrels fall/jump from the trees when the battle began! The...

Non directional tires on a civilian Jeep

Tire tech has definitely improved since the NDT & NDTCC were conceived. My limited experience with the aforementioned tires would make me consider it a tire for off-road or fun, pleasure drives only. On the other hand, I know of people using an M37 as a daily driver and they were just fine...

My friends first deuce came with a solargizer straight from the government, blends in nice with the carc on the hood. Everybody I know swears by them, so I'll be installing one on by CUCV soon. Some guy (maybe one of you) had a real good deal on them at the MTA show, NIB.
