the ones on my father in laws rig are pretty much that same size and we have lifted 1500 pound with no flexing or anything, alot depends on rope size to and how they are attached to the vehicle. i would think they should handle a ton easily.
there not from a telephone truck, mine are 4 inch diameter and i think thats the same size on all the trucks that used em. they look alot like a pair my father in law has on his old 56 ford farm truck
its just a form that the seller fills out saying the price he sold it to you for. they will use that as the value since you cant find a deuce in a blue book. it will save you some taxes on it as you will just have to pay sales tax on it for the purchase price, no additional fee shenanigans...
i went through the same title issue with mine, i purchased it from a Oregon member on here, just send them the purchase price verification form and that's all you need.
heres some more pics of all the tool boxes, and the a frame mounts. i haven't cleaned off the winch yet so i don't know its rating but i hear its 30000, also the heater.
Cool, I really hope I can make it, I have been really wanting to meet some of the nw members. So what specifics does your truck have, air shift tc, hard top, etc.....
i have always had luck finding new bearings and seals by taking the old examples in and going off dimensions. I dont know about your town but here i go to the "Industrial" part of town were all the big rig shops are and there's lots of shops like those and the prices are always great.
