It appears that I might need someone to pick up several pallets of stuff at Ft. Bragg in the next week or two and keep it for a couple of weeks (outside is fine) until I can get down there.
Anyone?
Thanking you in advance.

One of the Deuce fleet has had it's compressor and alternator/generator removed by someone who thought they needed them more than I did.
I have an extra Alternator but need the brackets that were taken. I also need a compressor.
Any help is appreciated.
I hate thieves.
I'm going to Richmond tomorrow, 8/1 in the am to pick up (another) M35, a diesel compressor, some headphones, and other electronics. Hopefully this won't turn out to be like the last double deuce recovery at Ft. Meade earlier this month - that one took 3 trips.
Am also going to see if I can...
I'm picking up 2 M35's and an M101 at Ft Meade on Wednesday the 9th. If anyone needs anything previewed, just let me know. You can try my cell anytime after 8am Wednesday if you'd like.

We put together a few of my vehicles and trailers for the local Independence Day Parade here in Fairfax, VA. It was to support the Fairfax Lions Club and our Vehicle Donation Program.
We had about 35 people either riding or handing out flyers. The parade attendance was estimated at about...
I seem to remember someone saying that there's some product that you can wipe down your Deuce with that would "freshen up" the look of the paint?
Got the Independence day parade coming up and need to do 2 trucks.
Tried search, but couldn't find anything.
All help and crazy comments appreciated.
Let me start this by saying that I am looking to step up and buy a 5-ton to go along with my bobbed deuce (and maybe one other keeper deuce). I've been looking at 813's and so far have not made the leap.
I just got off the phone with a friend of a friend down in NC who has an M54A2 w/w that he...
If anyone is looking to bid/buy stuff currently at Mechanicsburg, I spent most of today and most of last Thursday out on the lot there and might be able to help you out.
I don't think there's anything I'm going to bid on, but am more than willing to give you my impression of what I saw. I've...
Murphy apparently was on vacation yesterday as this M105 followed me home uneventfully.
Drove up to Mechanicsburg, PA, hooked the trailer to my 3/4 ton Suburban, threw on some tow lights and hauled a$$ home. Ran 65mph and didn't even know the trailer was back there!
The trailer has virtually...
I'm leaving for Mechanicsburg in an hour or two to pick up 1 of the M105's I've got sitting there (why)?
If anyone needs something looked at, let me know or call me at 571....436....5800.

I've got some 24v to 12v DC-DC converters available. You know, so you can run all those 12v accessories you want to run - neon under-truck lights, lit fuzzy dice, illuminated hood ornament, coffee maker......
100% duty cycle at 30 amps with surge to 35A. One of the largest capacities I've...
I was on my way back to VA from Mechanicsburg, PA after picking up a genny that I won and spied this tractor running about 60 mph on I-81 south. It had MD tags and a surprised look on the drivers face when I snapped his picture. ( I was driving and snapping pictures at 65mph.)
Anyone know who...
Without being specific and getting flamed and booted - What's up with the HIGH prices on some of the GL auctions for 5 tons and wreckers that are now for sale?
$13k+ wrecker with 24 hours to go? :!:
$3900 5 ton with 24 hours to go?
Either there's no recession or the GL ads on here are...
Amazing ! 2 of the Deuces that sold at Richmond today went for $4k. I went to look at them today and they would not let anyone in, even once you were on post.
I believe the secret here was that they had LDS 465 1A's in them.
Anyone here score one?
I seem to be having an intermittent issue with my lights. Found this while driving home from a Lions Club meeting a few weeks ago. Was right next to the Courthouse/Jail in Fairfax (yes, city police in view) when my lights just go out and yes, it's dark out.
After uttering the appropriate...
I've got a transmission at Eric's (Miltrucks) in OH that I need to get in the general direction of the Washington DC area.

Anyone who might be going there?
Please let me know... obviously will chip in something.
THANKS :!:

I'm involved in an organization who puts on a camp for deaf & hard of hearing kids in Jamestown, VA. It draws about 250 people, about 50/50 kids and adults.

I just got done driving both my '66 M35A2 and Shorty the Bobbed Deuce (1970 M35a2) and I noticed a very different response from the throttle pedal between the two of them. Just to make this clear, I'm talking about throttle response when running and in neutral - no load. Shorty obviously...
Well, I surely wasn't expecting to get the invoice yet from GL on a recent Deuce win at Ft. Meade, MD - but there it was today! Only 8 business days for the EUC approval?
I planned on going on vacation then worrying about this Deuce sometime next month, oh well :?
The truck runs...
Sold the '73 M35A2C today and found a leaky wheel cylinder.
Local parts stores don't have the NAPA p/n 45 rebuild kit, does anyone have the p/n for the whole cylinder? Checked the old threads with no luck.
HELP! PLEASE?
Thanks-
Don
