You guys saw this about the rear main seal housing modification, right?

I'm with Gimp on this one. The magnet is doing its job. just keep the transmission full of the proper gear lube (I use synthetic Mobil 50 weight gear oil) and keep driving it.

The 939 has an even worse stock air filter set up than the deuce! :smile:

Make sure your drag link and slave cylinder ends are adjusted properly. If there is slop in them, it causes issues with the power steering.

I don't have access to a filter housing right now, but does somebody know the inside diameter of the filter housing on a Deuce?

Well I went to Silver Lake Sand Dunes this past weekend. I first drove on the sand with my aired down (35 PSI) 9.00-20 radial commercial street tires (firestone) and 20% tread NDTs on the rear aired down to 10 PSI. The truck did very well getting around but still would not climb any somewhat...

Well that's not bad I suppose. I just wish it was an over the counter easy to get filter. Obviously we don't need to replace them all of the time, but it would be nice if it was an item we could get at Napa instead of mail order. I would still like to see where somebody built a new air filter...

I feel like I could swap head gaskets in about 8-10 hours. I have gotten pretty good at it.

Has anybody ever done a successful swap or modification of the under hood air filter assembly on a Deuce? Stock air filter is about 410 CFM I believe and I was wondering if anybody was able to put something else in that was up around 540CFM? from the numbers I crunched, it looks like 810 CFM...

How do the turbo trucks run with the timing set to the non turbo mark. I believe the non turbo mark advanced more than the turbo trucks.
