Wouldn't it be better to move the 4in intake heat duct inside the cab, let it recirculate instead of pulling cold air from outside the truck, thru the heater core and then in the cab.
Has anyone gotten a one piece rubber floor mat to fit in their Deuce?. If so, what kind of truck did you get it out of?. LMC truck has them for F350's for $130.00 but I was hoping someone have done this already before I order it.
I have a hose that need replacing. If you follow the steel line from the tank and it crosses over under the radiator then connects to a rubber hose about 16 in long. I need this rubber hose. From the steel line to the pump and has two female fittings one larger than the other.
Any vendors come...
Am replacing front hoses and noticed the dates on the new hoses read 8/84 and the ones on the truck read 11/97. Would you use the new,1984 hoses?. I have some bad nicks in the hoses on the truck now.
I am thinking about how to take the slop out of my tailgate pins. Maybe some fitted pins and bronze bushings will do. Clutch pilot bearings may work too.
Has anyone removed their slop?

Hello. I just received a rear cover, side vertical uprights, corners and bows. I was told the uprights need to be cut because they are 69'' long, too tall for a Deuce. I do have the troop seats installed also. My question is what length do I cut the 69'' uprights to work with a Deuce cover...
Have you run into lesser quality oil seals"Chinese" for the rear axles and if so which vendor would you recommend for good ol USA made seals, like Victor, National and CR. I see large differences in prices for the same seals and some just look like junk.
On the drivers side rear the outer nuts were left hand thread and came off fine. Can I assume the inner square head nuts are left hand thread as well? .I found one broken stud there already and don't want to add to to that count.
I am wondering which tire is better for traction etc, the Goodyear MVT's or Michelin XML's. I am trying to decide which ones to buy...........any input would be greatly appreciated.
