    Here are some parts that I do not need. I converted my M1009 over to 12V, replaced the trailer socket and pintle hook. I dont need them in my way so if you guys can use any of them let me know. The starter and drivers side alt. I plan to keep.

    Rear Hubs Hows does the rear lock out hubs work? Do you have to lock in the rear manually each time or is it with the throw of a switch.

    wheels & engine paint This may be a stupid question, but do the front wheels have manual lock hubs. And did you tape off or cover anything up when you sprayed the engine? Can you spray it w/o any after effects.

The truck came from the coast an is not what I would consider rusted bad, its just here and there and on the frame and body...

    RE: Re: Installing a tach on the M1009 The sensor is the little black box on the side of the alternator, I found that to be the easiest place to mount as opposed to the top. Redline is listed at 3600 rpm's

    I have read forums where people want to know about installing a tach in their MV. Here are pics from my tach install on my M1009. I purchased Auto Meter's Diesel Tach kit and for me the hardest part was where to mount the tach. Hope this is of some help those of you who have inquired.

    OK, I am the proud owner of a '85 M1009 Blazer, I switched it over from a 24V to a 12V system. But now my voltmeter doesnt work. In the conversion I removed the drivers side alternator and the two blue and one orange fusible link wires from the 12V junction block. Now my volt meter doesnt work...
