What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Have you tried to adjust them down? Cover the light that youre not tinkering with so you can see exactly whats happening. Ive had some that i cranked up and some i cranked down to get them where I want/need them. May double check with a local that knows the light adj specs deemed correct by your...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I agree 100%. Leds lose their effectiveness at distance. Only suggestion i have for mounting them is to not rush it or just accept typical locations. Think outside the box, make them work where you want them, not just where its handy. If option "a" wont work due to height or hood folding...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Pic1- spot and flood beams Pic2- flood on a mount i made for the camper. Ill only buy these from "ledstore" on our other favorite site.. (note: if ive said too much, let ne know and ill edit it out) I bet the reflectors in the headlights arent designed for such a high mounting location.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Same or similar lights on my 214 camper. I know.. i know.. its not a 5 ton but its a great illustration of the light. I took this from over 100' away.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Are those the 18w 12/24v floods? I swear by them! 3 pairs on the camper and 3 individual lights on the deuce. Im planning to junk the 816 floods in favor of these. Eyeballing it, id say, these give very useable lighting for at least 50'. Great choice of light!

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

No, i meant the trailer brake control valve on the tractor steering column, in cab. Sounds like a great idea as far as looking right and accessibility. You did a great job with yours and i mean no negativity.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Great job! Hey, i was talking to one of the guys that unstuck my wrecker about putting a train horn on. He said he used a trailer brake valve/handle and put it where its supposed to be so it looked right if he were to get stopped.
