Super.just a quick observation. How can a foreign national sell US government property?
Did uncle sam give up ownership directly to the french government or were these vehicles simply abandoned where they sat? Just something to think about when you get the thing over here and someone...
Looks like a 302 needs a bit of help levitating and I need to solve a glare problem. Anyway, I got the motor and tranny out of the 211. Now the fun begins as I figure a way to move the motor and tranny into my den.
What year is the deuce? Gasser or diesel? I'm 90 miles from Austin and might just be able to do a few things for ya depending on time and availability.
have ya thought about shuttling it home? The three way switch is an easy install.
Kansas to Austin is a straight shot down 35 and there are plenty of side roads around major cities. You have an offer in Lawton...........consider this an offer near Temple. Fill in a few places in...
Almost forgot Domino. Economics is not in your favor either. I have made biodiesel and after ya get the equipment and a source for veggie oil the cost is around 50cents per gallon. Pay your fed and state fuel tax and you are out another 50 cents if you want to be legal. So figure a buck a...
Look Domino.don't mean to burn your pizza but the idea of rolling a 13000lb hunk of very large iron folling down suburban streets to deliver a pound or so of bread and tomatoe sauce is about as ineffecient as you can get.
Tires wear quickly.......maintanance costs are high in either money...
Check the exemption ..400 gallons or whatever and report 399 gallons on wmo used.
First ya have to get dipped...then ya have to get ticketed........then they have to prove ya used more than the 400 or whatever gallon exemption.
Like the lawyer said..........they estimate based on...
Were diltheum crystals in the vending machines at GM in 52. I know that solveing the 1952 mystery in 2010 is a waste of time BUT........... a large number of former european DP camp people were given jobs at GM between 49 and 52. Perhaps some former non- english speaking factory workers...
Looks like someone wasn't quite awake while running the stamp machine.
Pull start on the starter handle is on the wrong side and upside down. The oil filler tube oil level stamp is backwards too.
Anyone found the same thing on their gasser?
Yep..and it generates a lot of money for the state and or city coffers...........cha ching.
Many people have been treated like criminals while funding incompetent government ....so just what are the real stats on a fleeing fellon vs a hard working stiff getting a revenue generation ticket...
Get it and don't bob a classic. Just my two cents worth but I am in the middle of a full restoration on my 211. Even if ya buy it and save it you can save it by selling the parts and buying a newer truck that runs. The 211 is too good of a truck to cut up or let go at that price.
I'm in the beginning of a 211 restore as we speak. A lot of guys on here are a lot of help and if ya ask ya get pointed in the right direction. Bet you finish before me.lol
