The tag was found on the other side on the bottom panel.
I will be looking today to see if the exempt tag is somewhere down there also.
Thanks
You are going to find a lot of stuff inside the set before its over.
In 2009 I was working in Ansbach, at an army unit just coming back from down range. It was summer and a VERY hot one indeed. I spent about 8 hours without lunch or drinking anything, working outside on the hot tarmac. Stupid. I got ready to go home. 2 hour drive. I needed fuel, so I stopped in...
In the first post he said he has no manuals. It sound like you are not getting initial excitation. You could try inducing 6-10 VDC to the exciter, wires F1 & F2. But unless the wires are marked, it might be hard to find the right place to excite the gen set with out manuals.
I worked in a unit that ran 24/7 and 365 on Aux fuel system. The only time we used the gen set tank was in the field, and only when the fuel tanker was on a mission. Otherwise, we ran Aux lines directly to the tanker. Its no big deal.
Partner, from the pictures its hard to tell much. But I do not see any major holes, so I think you are going to be all right. We will be keeping an eye out on your repair thread and chipping in as needed. Ya Got To Beleve!!! Its going to turn out good!
