If the drop test doesn't work go to your local interstate dealer and tell him you want two group 31 blems. I bought mine for $40 each and they work great!! Guy at interstate said they were returns that were diagnosed incorrectly as being defective.
Hey Carnac, we have a friend in common....my brother Kip!! He said told me to tell you hi. I got the truck home and found the vin stamped in the frame. It's on the drivers side right above the front spring mount. The number is I20142. Hope this helps ID my deuce!!

I agree with the statement about the gubment but we all have the right to our opinion. Bob the oil guy has done some decent research, it just needs to be more in depth. I'm going to contact him to see if he plans on any more tests. Will post the results.
I was going to add Lucas to my next oil change so I talked to our head tech. He has two diesel trucks one being a pulling truck. Said he used to run it before he ran across this site. Everyone who runs this stuff might want to check this out. What about Additives?
