I feel stupid asking but what is abridge plate? I'm thinking It's something to do with the load on the truck? Do they use those up here in Canada? Boy do I feel dumb!

I have never driven the US trucks but I can tell you the Canadian trucks are way under powered. Just put your foot to the floor and leave it there until you have to stop. Less noise from the exhaust as it's under the bed and muffled but still enough to put you to sleep on those long trips. And...

You might have to swap the 9.00s over to your CCKW rims with less offset they should be clear of the springs but the space between the duels will be tight. Andrew
