14 mpg is possible- I just filled up my bobber, and I had 14 mpg avg. This was just running back and forth to the shop and going easy on the pedal. In other words- I was trying to get a high result. Normally I won't drive it that easy. I had some Power Diesel additive in the tank.
I can't read the entire sign by the jeep- but it looks like they claim it to be a jeep that Patton used. I'm sure he had several over the years, but if this is one of them- it is way cool. I have a lot of respect for him, and those of his era.
I think you mean 'FUBAR'd or FUBARed'. FUBRED sounds like something from Kentucky! (JK)
The TM's work for me- just tried them, and they came right up. Using the resource link on the main menu bar.

Hi- welcome to the site and that is an awesome truck. I appreciate the photos, and give us a few more- maybe with the dump up and what lurks below.
I think you have to have a few more posts before you can put an ad in the classifieds. So when you put up more pics, you will get more posts!
PM sent.
I can't help with the pick up this time- but sent some ideas for calling a tow truck. So he still needs help from someone local - if possible.
I've used JB Weld a couple times on small radiator leaks, and they've both held. If you try it, make sure the cap is off. Even a little residual pressure in the tank will prevent a good patch.
That threaded rod is part of the cable- so you'll need to get another cable.
We'll both be shopping for one- I just pulled a frozen cable yesterday. Can't get to it for a couple weeks, so be sure and post what you do so I can read up later. Thanks
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Our family will NEVER forget 9/11.
Howdy from the wild west. There are a lot of good pickings up in your area. But your life really isn't complete until you drive home your first M35A2... :!:
maverick1701 is on his way home! He picked up a really nice truck from Boyce- he should be good to go for his looooong trip. He should get better mpg than he is figuring, 9 avg would be my guess.
Let us know how you make out on the trip. Good luck!
The benches will make great work areas- with lots of parts drawers. The electrical panels will all be used when I bring power over to the shop. The A/C unit may go into the shop. too. It's a 220v unit.

Welcome to the forum. You're in the right place if you like these trucks--- in all their variations. You should also talk to hundy (100dollarman here on SS), he is closer to you- in Barstow, CA. I got my bobber from him- first rate guy all the way.
My first EUC took about 90 days- now they're back in a few days at most, except the last one took 3 weeks- go figure.
I lost the brake switch on the airpack- it appears to have shorted out and melted, then sheared off. Allowed the brake fluid to pump straight out onto the road! I will always...
