Wait.....You had to pull a deuce out of a snow bank. Couldn,t Dave use one of his many BIG trucks to move it. I would be afraid of breaking something.
Glad you got a good bed Gerry.
Welcome JYJohn from S.E. PA.
My roots are also in the 67-72 chevy trucks. Got my first 69 C-10 in 1980 and been going at it ever since. I switched to Army trucks cause they are COOL, and because there dosent seem to be many 67-72 chevys in the junk yard any more.
Looks like your oh-9 is...
Oh man.....That sucks. I had a stubborn one once. I ended up driving a screwdriver thru the whole thing and got it to loosen a little. Then it came right off.
Hey Nick, When ever i have a tire size issue I always go to the 'Tire Rack' web site and pick out a tire and a size. Then go to alternative sizes and it gives all the specks on that tire with rim requirements.
Soak it with PB Blaster.
Usually when i get a real tight one, I get the press operation tight, then hit the ear with a hammer right next to the u joint cap. The shock will loosen it.
No need to bend anything.
I saw one chain that was thru the steering wheel and then ran down around the brake pedal.
I also have several American locks and keys and none fit.
Welcome from S.E. PA. Ive been thru Halifax many times on my way to Line Mt Race track. The Sheets is a gas and food stop for us every time. Of course i have to stop at Saturn and Coleman's. Good luck in your quest for a green truck.8-)
