If it were mine id just sand or wire brush it and paint it. If your going to be using it you will be worry free.

Some oils say "yellow metal compatable". GL 5 is one.

Did you build it? Looks great and kind of what I wanted to do. Do you use it for work? I want a setup that will allow me to haul my skidsteer without a trailer. How long are the ramps and how much trouble is it to remove them?

I bought lots of interesting but impractical cars my whole and don't regret any of them. Owning an M35 will definately be an adventure.

As stated earlier, its probably not going to be the best for a daily driver type vehical unless you haul stuff regularly. I use mine in my business to haul materials and supplies but it is not that convenient to just jump in and drive around as you would a car. Its kind of like driving a tractor...

I bought 3 and didn't preview any of them. I'd say your already ahead if you can preview. Nothing out of the ordinary to check - just as any other vehical in my opinion. What I'd look for though is indications of recent use. If it will start, check brake pressure, check all the fluids, look for...

I agree, insurance is great until you need it. I insure everything at a minimal due to past experiences. State farm has been good to me so far. Commercial policy for deuce about 350/year.
