I think, from everything I've read and heard, it takes way to many to run an AC. Cheaper and easier to run a little genny :-/
Why hooks? Hooks "hook" on things and you live in the woods. Why not loops or rings? You can always use something like a caribiner to hook from rings, or grommets in a...
I'm w/ Welder on this one.
We got one very similar, think it might be the next size up (biggest w/o going to a permanent), to use at our base camp. My thought was to be able to take it w/ us when we were mobile. Don't know if we will, just not that important to us for the space it would take...
The trick w/ the camo is to use your local colors. The She Beast has the same MERDC pattern but she has more of the brown and sand, mine has more sand and rust(?) w/ brown being the 3rd color. You could do green / red / brown, I've seen them, or just paint it up desert style and move ;)
Thanks, I will.

I've done so much work on the She Beast over the last few years, and then I realized one day . . . I'm a dependent!
All the fuel processing set-up was on her...
Re: seperating water from oil with out a heat sourse?
Are you asking why paint it black ?
If so, it's because it absorbs more heat . . . solar gain.
And we, or at least me, have a metal tank that I use to separate.
**** (or darn as we say on here), I used to live there when I was younger, went to high school from there (no high school in Bellview).
I can't even imagine where it would be held
Does any one have info, or a source for the info, on how these work? I have one that coils in but won't coil out. I think that one handle need to be rotated before it will spool out, is that right? Have tried it and it still wont.
