    Engine Cooling Fan, M818

Fun numbers just FYI: Modern fans like a 2008 Freightliner Cascadia with DD15 take 45 horsepower to operate (dyno tested).

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

They didn't post any other photos. Maybe this is the last shot the camera got... A mid-explosion fireball pic would have been epic!

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

I didn't find a picture of a tractor moving a Tomahawk, but I did find a perfectly timed still shot of a tractor about to be moved BY a Tomahawk...

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

I read on another forum where a guy mentioned that Oshkosh made an ICBM hauler that was an M911 chassis but with a different custom-made body on it. The pictures were no longer available, thanks to photobucket, but that could be the rig your buddy remembers.

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

The Oshkosh M911 has a pretty long nose and triple axles, but no idea if they used it as a missile transport.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Those look good - I like how tucked up they are. It looks like the blade is not inline with the arm...did you bend the tip of the arm?

    USMC M809 Series TM

My coworker was a Marine stationed at 29 Palms and when they switched to cd-rom manuals he pulled this operator's manual out of a garbage can on base and later gave it to me when I got my M813:

    M54A2 power steering question

Hmmm...what if someone else in your household who didn't make an agreement uploaded the files?...

Dual wheels on front of a deuce

    He said they're 9.00-R20s where stock would've been 11.00-R20 so they're smaller (M35 size)

Engine failure, rebuild, with turbo, jakes.

So did the excitement start with your engine dropping a valve?

    Hmmwv Intercom VIC-1 vs VIC-3

Because of the varying conditions and unknown functionality of used components i sourced my 4-person VIC-1 system from recodefense who is a vendor on this site. They're a DOD refurbisher of VIC-1s and can supply the amplifier, the crew boxes, and even radios but you would be on your own for...

Which of these CPLs matches with M809 engines? I've read on this forum that 026 is the closest match but these charts also have a listing for 172 and 709 for the NHC-250

Do you know which tranny is on the new engine? If you don't have to worry about a pto for a winch maybe you could make that one fit?

Engine failure, rebuild, with turbo, jakes.

That's a bummer about the engine going TU. Looks like luckily you have a shop to work in 😀. I've been reading a lot about getting 700-900 HP out of these 855 cummins mostly by lowering compression, retarding cam timing, and upping the fuel delivery. It would be fun for a few minutes until...

VIC-3 whistling noise with Engine rpm

I have that same sound in my M813's VIC-1; kinda sounds like the truck has a turbo. Would a filter simply wire inline with the positive cable for the 1780 amplifier?

    M125-A1 Cargo Truck Cummins V8 300 Powered

How far into the engine do you plan to go?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Does a slower motor mean it needs to be greased or is the passenger side usually slower because of the longer air hose?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

His install looks very clean and well routed. I like it! Another location option would be the top rear of the cab: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/vic-1-intercom-panel-for-soft-tops.188122/
