The Afghan Army has a LOT of these trucks.....I have seen the M-35's we gave them a few years ago...I WILL NOT post pics of how they look now.....(WAY too Graphic for young viewers) They run the Batteries dead then use another truck to push start (Well more like ram start) Makes me sick.
These...
This is twice GL has thrown a wrench in the turbo this week...First with my Vanishing MKT lot now with extending the closing time...We have to play by the rules IE NOT discussing up comming auctions, payment deadlines removal deadlines(I have a good story on that one)....What can we do about...
A flawed system I would think once an item goes up for sale it should be "Off Limits" I have gotten items missing parts that were there in the pics....I know I know .....BUt flawed none the less
Yeah that is the message I get on the GL site, Some Horse Pucky about being pulled by the Admin team....A simple email notification would be nice. I love companies with a monopoly.......
Ok, I dont know if this has been covered before or not. I was bidding on a MKT-95 in Alabama I think. the auction was due to end tomorrow. it has completely vanished, along with the bid history, I still have the Emails confirming my bids. But the auction is GONE. Has this happened to any of you...
In the 120/208 configuration you have 120v line to Neutral, 208 phaze to phaze You can run single phaze items BUT you must be careful to load all Phazes equally (Or as close as Possible) This is why the military uses 3 phaze A/C's even on the smaller "Window" shakers (9000 BTU) I would not...
A/C'c
Only 5 or so lots sold......Well I bought 4 who got the other one? Man I wish GL hadnt upped their minimum bids......Probably will see these again.

Ok so I come home on leave to play with my new toys....one of which is a M816 from Indiana decent truck but in need of a little love, Cables birds nested, no heater, somone turned the engine down so it hits the governer at 2000 RPM...nothing too serious but the hydraulics dont hold the boom...
The M720 is 96 inches wide, 92 inches long(Minus the drawbar) . 78 inches high, Weight aprox 3000lbs. I have split these before and hauled them in the back of a CUCV P/U.
Well here I go again. I have 2 M720's in Utah that I either need hauled or possibly if there are any members out there that could store them for me for a bit. I bought them at the same time I got my MKT but I cannot find anyone willing to haul them for a reasonable price. Anyone comming towards MI?
My Heartfelt Thanks to all the help. The unit was delivered today. I found a person on Uship to haul it for me. it ended up being $1450. A bit higher than I would have liked but it is home. I depart Afghanistan for home in 72 hours. I will be posting pics of what is inside. The Auction listing...
I use Rotella T in all my Equipment have for years, and my Grand Father Before me. Also use it in all our farm equipment It has been good to me. Just my 2 Cents
Oh I almost forgot....You DO NOT have a diesel engine.. It is a Compression engine though...You have entered into the world of Multi Fuel. That baby will run on almost anything....Gas,Diesel,Waste Oil, Veggie Oil....Hyd Fluid....Trans Fluid....Cat Urine....Well probably not the last but it will...
Yes It stops the fuel there by shutting down the engine. I would recommend repairing it as using the clutch to stall your engine is a "Brutal" way to do it and will result in rapid clutch wear and possible driveline damage. I will be home in a week I can give you a hand with it then if you would...
Good Catch, follow the cable down to the Inj pump see if it connected. if you are still haviln problems in a week I will be home on leave You could take a road trip to the farm (80 Acres of Apple trees and such) good place to test the 6x6 action......
Well if the price is right grab them there are HEMITT owners here that might have use for them . according to the info I could gather they are brake kits for the wrecker I will try to find a TM and see if they work on any other trucks. I think the HEMITT uses Rockwell S-cam brakes if so that is...
I am in a bit of a pickle. I have an MKT in Mew Mexico that needs to be picked up.....This Tuesday. My shipper fell thru, I am in Afghanistan So I cannot get it myself. My only other option is to have a friend take my deuce from MI to pick it up. I dont really get a warm fuzzy from that. it...
