Removed old, rusted out, leaky fuel tank last week. While I'm waiting on parts.....cleaned up fuel tank skid plate, moved license plate to where the pintle hook went, re-painted bumper.
Placed order for 31 gal tank and everything that goes with it......$$$$ Cha-ching$$$$

As far as your fuel gripe, there are replacment filters and filter bases all over fleebay. If thats the way you want to go. I dont have any experience with the spin on stuff, pretty sure there is a ton of info about it around the site. And ditto to what 1stSarge said....
Hey WM, Walking the rounds seems to be the way to go. Although, we had a gunner that could hit a target, sitting in a window on a high speed pass ( 100 knts or better ) at the mount site at Ft. Knox, with less then ten rounds. Or so the story goes.
Our H-60's can be configured with the M-240 or...
