In the early 70's when the MEP-115A came out, we could not get filters. There just wasn't enough in the supply system. We ran 7 gen sets 24 / 7 / 365. So we went through a lot of filters. So we just started washing them with warm soapy water and letting them dry out. Compressed air just ruined...
This filter fits MEP-004A through MEP-009B sets. I helped someone find a replacement 4-5 years ago? and there IS another company who mike one like it. But for the life of me, I can not remember the Who, Where, What or How, of the deal.
What really needs to be done here is teach you to read a TM.
1. TM 9-6115-642-24 is the operators TM.
