FWIW - My EUC was sent to Battle Creek on 1/6 and I got my EUC approval/Paid In Full Invoice on 1/13. So your wait may be only 5 working days if all goes well. Good luck my brother!!!!!
My truck is insured buy Gulfway with Travelers as the underwriter and I don't have any restrictions either. I plan on insuring my new truck through Gulfway too, once the EUC gets approved.
I found a person selling a M103 with a gas powered genset in the local paper.
I have a M103 that is missing the bows, so I asked him if he would be willing to sell the bows seperately. Anyway his was response was "it depends how much I am willing to pay for them." What is the going rate for a...
Heck the 8.3L C series is not that much heavier than the LDT-465 then.
I seem to recall reading that the LDT-465 weighs ~1800 lbs, so you would not need to beef the suspension much if at all if you dont have a winch full of cable mounted on the front of the truck. Cooling may still be an...
If it were up to me I would take a truck that needs mechanical attention over one that has rust. Rust is bad mojo IMHO. I am better at wrenching than I am at body work.
I agree that someday the M35 will be a sought after collectable, but I don't see why bolt-on mods that are easily reversed would be detrimental for a deuce or any other MV. I have lockouts on my MB and my M35 and I think they reduce some of the wear and tear encountered during operation.
I think our folks in Washington are misguided. I would rather give them a bunch of rakes, shovels and trash bags so they can personally clean up our highways.
I will have to wait until the spring or summer before I can buy one, but I will contact you when I am ready. Between the new deuce and the Tucker sno cat I may buy, I will be up to my neck in projects.:-D
I was there last Tuesday. My son and I were drooling over the M818s and then we had to take a look at the M35A2Cs. Anyway, I decided to bid on any of the (3) deuces instead of the M818s. An M818 with a deuce bed would be a real sweet rig, but going with a deuce means I dont have to deal with...
I got the 4k truck and I will inspect the brake system and replace whatever is necessary when it gets home. I will probably try a 4" J pipe mod on it as well. I went there to look at the M818s and ended bidding on the M35A2Cs. The M818s were nice, but its more truck than I will ever need.
All...
Amen brothers! I know in the past (4) years my deuce has never let me down and it is the best cold weather starting diesel I own. Heck it starts faster than my 92 Dodge W250 with the Cummins, unless I plug in the engiine block heater.
