Is there any supplier that sells just the valve cover gaskets for the duce, so I could adjust the valves without buying the whole gasket kit?
Well an email to saturn Surplus and I found a supp;ier of just the two valve cover gaskets, rather than having to get a whole 'kit'
While a poster said that you have fading and that the colors this year wont match last years, even from the same can, well I can believe that, but under the hood on my Duce, the motor does appear to be a color not used on the outside surfaces, It is a different color is'nt it? A darker green.
Love the duals on the front, now that'll be the craze....I'm ready, but I might be knocking down a fiew mailboxes here in NC. on the narrow roads we have outside of town.
Well thats good to know on both counts guys. My intention was a source of reliable 12 volt accesory power for the gadgets and jumping other 12 volt vehicles
Surely there is a marine type 12 volt alternator made by somebody that is waterproof? Or any type of waterproof alternator, I'v searched the web, but come away with nothing, any members recall where they've seen one? or who might have such a unit? The thing is, if you fabricate mounts and us an...

It apears the tan Duce, if I'm correct is the one of which your speaking, and that it also appears to be running duals on the rears, which I much prefer with any Duce. Fliped rears with singles just look...
I did a search on ebay and in my search I typed in "5 micron sock filter" and sure enough it took me right to the listings. They are roughly $6 and some change, they have a metal ring afixed to the 'pour-in' side for liping on a comtainer, and that they were reseable, but recomended cleaning...
As I relayed to Neil & Bull Dog, I live in Cason Old Field, which is approximatly 9 miles S SE of Wadesbourough NC. which in turn is approximatly 45-50 miles from Uharrie Nat. Forrest at the bottom of Highway 52. I have a 30 acre farm and the location is such that all the neighbors are aware of...
Only you know the time frame 'window' on making T Shirts, but this thread has a lot of life yet, so.....mabe there will be some interest in that area yet....
Another thing of interest, in the Park they allow you to pan for gold in the streams and creeks. That might be of interest also as an activity, depending on how close a creek might be. But metal detectors are not allowed. Also there is fishing and of course hiking.
Many of us dream of flying just once in our lifetimes in a helicopter. In 1970 times were so-so and being 19, I was doing nothing either creative or productive. The times were about the War and the demonstrations against it, many facing the draft still. I was one of those, and at least to have...
WWW.planesoffame.org in Chino California ps. go to the forum for such questions, the Boys out there are stelar, lots of help to be had. Wilbur, a docent there could probably get you in touch with someone who has pics. or a site depicting each unit, or possably a 'live' picture of one.
Its me who they come looking for when the roads freeze and everyone runs off the road. I live in farm rural though, I'v pulled a couple of 18 wheelers out too.
