i really really really like the sound of this snowroof stuff. Lucky me, It appears that the only retailer anywhere near me is only 7 miles up the road. Ill be looking into this and ill let you guys know
I sat a handgrenade under the hood closed the hood and pulled the pin. Well, thats what it looks like. I disassembled the front side of the engine to begin the arduous task of blasting and painting parts. This is a loooooooooooong hill to climb. It started with a coolant flush and now the...
well, im pretty anal retentive. I want it to look outstanding under the hood. This is a big undertaking though. My 109 is nearly new under the hood so it really irks me to look under the hood of the 35. It was the first truck i bought and ive done a ton to it. Its just tough looking at all...
will regular enamels hold up fine or does it have to be a high temp to paint the block. I havent found a high temp in a green. Ive found some nice greens in high performance type enamels though.
ok guys. im polling here. what have you used as a paint for the engine block of a deuce. There are very few engine paints in a high temp that are even green much less od. Ive seen several that say they have used rattle cans. Is the engine temp not a concern? im open for suggestions. Most...
Well ill add another question. Has anyone found a good product to put on top of the box to seal out water? I thought of using the same 3m undercoating i used inside my other truck. That stuff is amazing but im not sure how it will stand up to uv and constant exposure to the elements.
i drove mine to the local shopping center the other day and found the most expensive car parked in the farthest north 40 space away from the entrance and left it there! rofl
nice 109 brother, you're giving me ideas for mine...but geeeeeeez i would much rather have those seats up front. Whats the idea behind that? what did those seats come out of?
one part as far as i know....er, well i guess that depends. The body of the door is one part, meaning that you cant take an inner panel off and simply replace it without cutting welds. you can remove hinges and other small parts, but the body of the door is one piece. Doors are quite expensive...
To qualify for the insurance I had to send them a pic of a Deuce in a lockable garage... I mean MY deuce in a garage.
This is so funny to me. I wonder how many people have answered a knock at the door and been asked ....."excuse me, i know we have absolutely no relationship so im going to...
doors could be a very costly repair depending on how you do it. I got very very lucky and caught the owner of a local military bone yard on a good drunk! :D He basically told me to go pick two doors off any truck on the north forty. i found an an a2 that had just been trailered in from a gl...
well i could see how you may wind up with that much in one of these over time. I plan on doing mine all myself. I'm allowing myself a $5000 budget. This is to include laminate flooring, a refrigerator (which i already have), an a/c unit, a heating unit, insulation, etc. I plan to scavenge as...
