As for the route ,will be using I-10 most of the way. If I pull this off was thinking about getting a set of MRAP alum.wheels and maybe tires ? But maybe out of money for now ?
Been thinking about installing rear amber LED strobe markers ?

Have found a 1078 with low miles and I can pull all the PM's and TM's before starting.
Other than a high limit credit card (LOL) what should go on the trip ? I have towing from my RV if needed. All of this will need to be shipped the 2200 miles from home base.
So, give me a hand with the list...
Get one of the stainless steel welding brushes (small one) they work well. And don't leave anything what will brake down behind. I work in the marine business and that is what we have learned. Can you say SALT WATER ? LOL
Michael,do you think the filter could be dropped down where the tank for the winch would be ? This is just behind the driver side front tire ? Then work the snorkel up behind the cab ?
Randy
I'm a little worried about working around the tires .If and when I get one. Have a old back problem and I keep thinking I'm still 18. Good idea to rent some other backs.
