The VIN to my M1008 was in the system when I registered the truck. I got tags easily, but could not get permanent tags because it is listed as over a 1 ton. Other than that I had no problems in Montana. We do not have vehicle inspections here because they are just a scam to make more revenue.

It's about double the price of the import starters, $199.95 with free shipping on EBAY. They give a 2 year warranty. Although pricey, I have read about many guys buying a new starter and needing another one too fast. I want to avoid that. Supposedly this is a new starter and not reman'd.
