    HMMWV M1123 FLASHER UNIT WIRING

Water,,, oil? I wish, I would like to see an Aermotor pumping oil, that would be cool! Although this will be pretty cool, with a 8" cylinder in a good breeze she will make around EDIT, sorry it would be 55GPM, still allot of water!

    HMMWV M1123 FLASHER UNIT WIRING

Just ohm out the three wires going into the harness to ground with the wires unplugged from the turn signal switch, it will be the only one showing around 0 ohms, then ohm out the other two to the turn signal plug terminals F and H

    HMMWV M1123 FLASHER UNIT WIRING

Any time you need me to, I am bowed up like a cutting worm right now, clearing an area for several conex boxes so I can clear out my shop and a buddy of mine just bought a drilling rig and is having towed to my place so I can put in the 10" cased well for the 16' Aermotor, of course I have to...

    HMMWV M1123 FLASHER UNIT WIRING

It is right there in the schematics, 325A goes to pin H on the turn signal control unit (switch) , 325B goes to pin F on the control unit and 57K goes to ground.

    Speedometer issue

The drive gear is the same for the TH-350, TH-400 3L60. 3L80 and 4L80 transmissions, obviously you want the blue one, you will have to remove the drive shaft and tail section off of the transfer case. There is allot of information about timing the driven gear housing given the colors of the...

Sounds like maybe some tappet noise.

Fan Time Delay Module bypass / Manual Fording Switch

It is actually much older, the FET (which obviously the TDM uses because of its low drive requirements) was developed in the mid 40s, the solenoid controlled valve in the early 1900s and the bi-metal strip used in the thermal switch is at least 200 years old. I cut my teeth on this stuff in the...

Fan Time Delay Module bypass / Manual Fording Switch

I was surprised at how little the valve actually drew as far as current, I did not say the thermal switch could not power the valve I just said I would not assume it would and that with the TDM it is not actually powering the valve in that application. I would love to get my hands on one of...

Fan Time Delay Module bypass / Manual Fording Switch

The Cadillac valve pulls around 3/4A, I cannot even read the current going through the thermal switch so (must be in micro amps) the thermal switch is obviously not powering the valve directly, the TDM uses the signal from the thermal switch and the kickdown switch to determine to switch power...

Installing back up lights on the Humvee

The minimum you will need are these parts, the adapter and the switch, the switch is the same as the neutral switch which cost less than half of what most are trying to get for a "reverse" switch, you can get these off of fleabay for around $90 total, which is still too high IMHO....

    4l80e head scratcher.. need help

AGAIN what I am trying to say is that the HMMWV does not have that switch so it could not be an issue. Start the video around 2:00 All HMMWVs use the early style shift shaft because they do not have a NSS mounted to the side. Again the neutral safety switch in a HMMWV is in the shifter not on...

Fan Time Delay Module bypass / Manual Fording Switch

This is how I would do it, I added a diode to protect the relay contacts, it should be a 1000V 1A (1N4007) diode. It is a little sloppy, sorry... I would use this relay, and of course carry a spare, this relay is "protected" meaning it protects the fan thermal switch against reverse EMF...

Fan Time Delay Module bypass / Manual Fording Switch

It would be easy enough to do, if nobody has a schematic I could work one up, easy peasy. You would need a 24V relay (with normally closed contacts) a switch and a fuse.

    4l80e head scratcher.. need help

I only want to get the correct information out there to help folks in need. NO HMMWV ever had an ODB-II, they use the same transmission and TCM configuration that was used on the 6.2L mechanically injected non ECM vehicles before the mid 90s. Again I ask have you seen that NSS switch on a...

    4l80e head scratcher.. need help

You have owned several on HMMWVs? I have never seen that switch on a HMMWV, but I don't get to play with the latest (ECV/REV) trucks

    4l80e head scratcher.. need help

The neutral safety switch is in the shifter and has nothing to do with the range switch that is in the transmission. It only prevents starting the vehicle unless the shifter is in neutral and or park in the case of a 4 speed and has no connection whatsoever to the transmission wiring.
