What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

It's to get you down the road, or out of the mountains/desert/whathaveyou...Not a permanent fix. I carry spare hoses/belts in my M1031, but it doesn't hurt to have..

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

They make emergency wrap, holds to 400 PSI or some such nonsense. You wrap it around and squeeze and it turns into a rock hard sealant. I always keep a couple rolls handy...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Let us know how it works. I've heard anything more than a couple PSI and kaboom...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I think that's the first CUCV cluster I've seen actually fully lit... Hahahaa

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Of course, but that's usually the exception rather than the rule.

Thermostats are designed to fail open. Taking forever to get to temp or running cold is better than overheating.

Drove 170 miles for an annual campout and parade. Put 11 gallons in. That gives me 15.5 MPG on an M1031 on mostly highway miles, 55-60 MPH. I'm OK with that... heh.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Look into an Aussie fridge. Chest freezer with different thermostat. Inexpensive and very efficient.

    Military "CB" Radio

The Icom IC7200 will do what you want, but technically illegal.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

States have their own height/Width/Length/Weight restrictions too, so keep that in mind.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Nope. Saw 'frame extension' and thought you meant truck. and 30' truck+tongue+40' connex? Not a good idea. you'd exceed the 75' maximum allowed on interstates,

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Your truck, your choice. I've seen pink camo on one. You choose what to do with your truck, we choose whether or not to laugh. :D

    20' is what will fit.

An electric pump can be had for less than $30 and plumbed inline below the passenger side door, and it doesn't have to be 'on' until you need it.... Comes in real handy if you need to prime it (for whatever reason).

Hope you got the steering wheel chained. I'm sure some of Baltimore's roaming illustrious 'disadvantaged urban youth' would love to relieve you of the burden of owning that truck... I miss Smith Island... Hahah.. no crime...no riff raff

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

A couple reasons. 1. They won't freeze. 2. They can't be eaten. 3. They can't be drained and/or stolen, or otherwise tampered with. 4. They can't be punctured. My biggest concern is temp. I don't want 100* water on a hot day, or no water (frozen) on a cold day.... Secondary is...

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

I've been bouncing back and forth between plastic 55gal water drums, and a custom water tank. I think 100 gallons is the minimum I'd want to carry. Drums are cheap. I plan on using the overhang and building out slightly to fit a queen size bed. That'll leave about 2ft overhang. I have 3...

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

Mine are in good condition. The front hatch/vent might be a good idea to put one in, it just might work on the side vents too. Thanks for the heads up!
