You can try South City paint and ask for Dan for the primer and such. I would suggest Rapco for the paint though, if you are going to do a 3 colour camo using CARC 383.

    M1009 Flexplate Part No.

If you are going all out to replace the flexplate, now would be a good time to have the starter rebuilt. Most shops won't cost that much and you would have piece of mind with a rebuild. Also, check your bendix, it might be ate up with your previous grinding when starting...

    Engine wiring repairs

You will be happy with Eriks. I have ordered several items from him, wire and connectors too, and all have come in before they were supposed to and all items have been spot on. Good Luck with the repairs!

Am I crazy (engine/body swap question)

Usually a engine tranny swap is alot easier than a body swap. Make a list of what you will have to do to both and proceed with the least labour involved. Changing the body is not unheard of at all, just VERY labour intensive.

    M1009 Flexplate Part No.

You can get new starter bolts from your GM dealer, they should have them in stock or within a day or so. Do you know if the support bracket on the back of the starter is connected? If you don't see one, you will need to place a new one, it supports the back of the starter and also helps restrain...

1984 K-30 Chevy P/U with a 6.2 liter diesel should be all they need to know to look it up for you. I changed mine out last month and that's what I did... If I remember correctly was about 60 clams. Look for the crankshaft bolts somewhere else though, I did not like the bolts they offered, got...

JWM, I'll give you a little 'advice' on the Fort Polk trucks...My next door neighbor just happened to be salivating over mine one day...went on bumbling about having REAL fun in these trucks in the 'back 40' at Polk. Really bragging about tearing them up before having to turn them back in...

    Dry cut metal saw question

Jimmy 90, Don't know what brand blade you are using, but have read around the web and found that the Dewalt blades are having problems with their 'new' design. Might want to use another brand. Jason, To have sharpened, take it by any reputable saw shop and have them sharpened. It all depends on...
