What if you took a BF piece of angle and bolted it to the bed and the side. It would be a lot easier
to unbolt the angle then to swap the bed.
Also, in a lot of cases, you would only have to unbolt the side.

Well I thought I would be a good guy and download all my messages and clear my stored messeges.
I thought I did everything right, but all I ended up with is the messeges I sent to other people and none of the messeges I received.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks,Bruce
"If they call for cap screws there, that sure is a mistake!"
Thanks G, I figured that might be a mistake.
I am just being cautious. I really don't want to do this twice!

I have been carefully reading the manual 34-2-3 carefully in preperation to the rebuild, and I noticed that they called out
cap screws instead of studs when reinstalling the PTO. Any thoughts on this?

Note: California will not let you register M720 Dolly sets. Evidently some yahoos overloaded a
shelter and it came apart on the freeway with obvious results.
You may be able to register it if modified, but I don't know very much about that.I have a M720 in parts here in Berkeley CA which I...
I have the following item: Hughes Aircraft, Ground Support Group, Part # 716914-1
It is a hand held light on the end of a 110v 400hz power cord.
It is about 2 to 3 feet long with a heavy rubber handle.
the light is a cylinder about 2 inches in diameter and inside there is a skinny
florescent...
Thanks G. I did look at that thread and I will be studying thouroughly before starting.
I saw enough pictures of the carnage to be on my toes. Also thanks for posting the pic of the mounting studs.
When I go to mount it I don't really want to drop the transmission to do it. I am no longer 18 and...
Thanks guys, Yes, my bad, I meant the two output shafts.
Any idea why the manual calls out 6 seals? No big deal,
I am very happy to hear it is only 5!
About how long does it take for mid level mechanic to tear it
down and put it back together?
I really appreciate all the help you all give...
I have rebuild kit NSN 2520-00-692-6187, but when I checked in
the 34-2-3 TM on page 844 [17-828] it shows 6 oil seals and the kit only has 5.
It has the input and output shaft seals and 3 other smaller seals the same size.
Any idea of what I am missing? I really don't want to tear into this...
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the help from everyone here. If it wasn't for this
site, I would have given up years ago, but now I realize that I can get my self in more
trouble than I thought was ever possible.....

I need to rebuild my PTO before installing it on the transmission of
my M54A2. Does anyone know the manual used to do a depot rebuild?
I have the parts package for the rebuild, but am clueless on how to rebuild it.
Thanks,
Bruce
