Sometimes we use low range all day. Some of the dirt tracks we run aren't any good for high speed (over 30mph) ;) I find low range is great for when I know we're not going to be going faster than 25mph. It lets us have 5 forward gears instead of 3. Just right for those 6 hour, 100 mile, days...

It's not that bad :roll: I just spend mid-day siesta time under the trailer 8-) Some more insulation, vents to get a breeze through, and outside shade netting to keep the sun off the roof/walls and it'll be at least a three season camper [thumbzup]

Same here, one hole back. Will be replacing the line from the primary on and moving it behind as well because of that same thing, it's been dented.

I'm doing the same install. That wire goes to nothing in this set-up. Are you able to get movement out of the alt in that position? I'm having to move my primary filter mount rearward.

Mine's a softtop, but one thing that I did notice is that if the windshield is too far forward, or too far back, my windows wouldn't square up. I had to loosen the BIG wingnuts on both sides of it and move it back and forth till the windows were squared. Haven't tried to move the windshield on...

yes, that I can find and replace it from civi stock (great for those of us that spend loads of time in travel mod), it also gives much better access to the primary filter . . . and it weighs less :)

something I noticed w/ the 109 is that because of the narrow headlights it doesn't look like a big truck at night. Not only are we going to make the turn signals into markers, but we are also going to add some clearance lights . . . just to show how big we really are ;)

That's what I'm doing right now. Have the bracket and now I'm waiting on the alt to arrive. Got the alt off ebay, cost a bit more than the place he recommended, but they could get the pulley for me as well. Don't really have a good way to drill the stock pulley out, . . . at least not where I am...
