Had the great pleasure to hop a ride on one while I was in the Navy. March AFB to HI. Had to ride back in a Navy C-9. The 141 was more fun. The crew was training for a medical transport....a dozen or so fake patients. What a way to get a free ride to HI.

A Sunday is fine by me! I'd be in for any weekend day. I frequently have a full weekend of work come up with little to no warning. These common scheduling issues are exactly why Mike and I tried to give 7 months warning/prep time for the July Convoy! It's always hard to nail down a date when...

elkhunter, Silver Creek and Mayfield are both about 20-25 minutes away. The lake would be a great place to visit if you have any watercraft with you. The convoy will be passing through Silver Creek. Consider this option....You could stay up at Cushman and then move to my "back 40" on Thursday...

Mike, At this time, I'm leaning towards a run to Morton on Hwy12 and a return on 508 via Onalaska. About a 2 hr round trip + Parade in Napavine to start.
