nope. they will interchange but the dodge is a male shaft with a coupler.
Yu need a ford 205, and a 85-91 (Long) 32 spline 205 input. Ue the late gm 4x4 4500 with the cummins input. The spacer that you will need to go between the trans and t-case can be machined to adapt the 2 different bolt...
I dont think your gonna find a core plug to fit it as the plug for the yoke is a flat disk. your going to have better luck picking up another yoke. You have to pull the yoke off anyway to fix it.
Should as far as I know ford only used 1 spline count on there 4x4's and that was 31. you may have to notch the trans for the shifter.
Your next task finding an adapter to go to the zf. Destroked probably makes them but I was far less than impressed the last time I talked to them.
All 3 will handle that in stock form without a problem. if it where me I would use a late GM 4500 with a dodge input & bearing retainer. that way you have the more adaptable 32 spline output.
If you have been reading then you know the issue with the 5600 as well.
Sorry but to me this is sounding like a pipe dream. in all reality what are the numbers you are wanting out of this engine? What are you doing to the final drives to make them handle the power? All of the transmissions...
Kind of funny this thread is here today, I was just talking to my boss about a sparkplug I removed from a 6ct cummins. It actualy said cummins on the porcelin, pretty neat.
I thought it looked odd up front, I thought it was just because it didnt have a winch. lol. The parst I am concerned about are from the cab back, The other stuff I can find. I was hoping someone would have a more specific "M" series number to use.
