Building a custom cab ? The mHET

All you need is time and money. And, a lot of both. Sounds like a great idea, I hope you can pull it off.

1400x20's on Marsh 1 piece rims

I put 1600's on 12" Marsh one piece wheels. I would suggest a first aid kit, 911 on speed dial and a long list of friends for help. It's a be-otch.

    alternative steering options the deuce

"hand jockey knuckle" right on. No front brake of course ! I still haven't come across a Garrison assist set up or a HF 54 box. I'd like to get my hands on a donor truck so I can get all of the parts and rebuild them rather than start buying a piece at a time and spend way too much. There...

Is a Boyce m35 Bobber right for me?

Not sure why I thought it was a Bobber, sorry. I'm just sticking up for those guys from my experience with them, they've always been great. I would think if he liked the truck, the price, and was satisfied with the title situation, it's his baby. Maybe he ( or you ) could tell us the...

Pulling tractor with a deuce engine

No, here's the scoop on resizing.... If you have the rods out - resize them ! Or I could say if you have the rods out check them to see if they are round...they won't be. Over time rods get egg shaped and don't hold the bearing properly causing premature failure. The rods are just way too...

Is a Boyce m35 Bobber right for me?

Mark and Brett at Boyce are great guys. They are very honest and helpful, why should they be responsible for your politics in your state? Sounds like your buddy should have looked into it a little more before he pulled the trigger. Just another good example of why you should have a legit...

Is a Boyce m35 Bobber right for me?

Mr B. You still shopping? Don't forget to consider Arizona is ridiculous when it comes to registering 'out of the box' stuff, and a Bobber is out of the box. If it has to be inspected, which it will if it has an out of state title, the inspector will be confused, he'll go get his Boss and...

    Rear Winch On Bobbed Deuce

I couldn't come up with a way to keep the angle braces that support the pintle or the pintle itself, they were both in the way for a rear winch.

    Rear Winch On Bobbed Deuce

I used the stock ( front winch PTO ) lever and made linkage to the transfer case PTO. Works great. Even kept the original lockout plate on it for safety.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

I thought about doing that too. For a different reason though. I was going to move the batteries and the fuel tank into the bed to move some weight towards the rear. If your not going to do any slope traversing, it should be fine. After I just about tipped mine over ( If the fuel had been in...

AZ will not title HMMWVs as of today

" Firstly, I don't call anyone a moron" Secondly " people are pretty effin' stupid animals" that makes a lot of sense, thanks for the clarification

    Hydraulic Conversion of PTO Winch

Travis, I guess you've found a way to make ' the perils of being cool ' - be safe. I get it. Nice. I did acquire a couple of hydraulic winches recently, haven't messed with them yet though. I'll eventually incorporate one of them onto my truck. Cool AND safe...that's a rare combination. Greg
