Of course, the same thing happens for the Amphenol brand as well. Different modifications added to the end change it a little as well.
Looks like they have several in stock and ready to ship. I don't think you want the version with "W" at the end as that changes the clocking position of the...
The amphenol brand connector I gave the part number to is available individually.
I don't know if it comes as a complete assembly or not, as the Amphenol brand you have to buy the components separately and assemble yourself (which is why I have so many part numbers listed in the first post in...
I bought liquid when doing mine.
It does seem to dry out a little faster than paste does, but it's easier to get into places like the bead surface when prying on stuff, as it will flow down into the gap while you are prying, and paste doesn't usually flow like that.
I can't really give...
Would you trust going out into a combat situation with an engine worked on by a teenager that never even looked under the hood of a car before they joined up 6 months previously?
Doing a job like that right can sometimes take almost as long as just yanking out the engine and shoving in a new...
Supposedly there are some for heavy equipment that will work and not burn everything up, but you won't find them labeled for HMMWV use.
I'm sure at some point someone linked one that would work to a thread on here in the past, but I didn't pay attention. Way too many chinese made switches on...
it's kind of important.
I've heard of more than one tire that managed to get inflated, but didn't want to deflate because of rubber blocking the valve stem area. Definitely not a common issue, but also preventable.
Another thought, did it come from the military with the 200 amp alternator installed, or was it done afterwards? The 200 amp uses larger cables than the 60 amp, and they should be routed over to the starter solenoid if I remember correctly, whereas the 60 amp wire went to the control box and...
When you're flooring the accelerator and the trans kicks down, the entire engine/transmission assembly does some twisting against it's mounts. The only thing I can think of is you have a bad wiring connection between the alternator and the batteries somewhere that is getting affected by this...
the 200 amp has a lot of mass, so belts could slip if loose. Your description of it only happening when the engine is revving up under heavy load though would make me suspect it doesn't have anything to do with the belts, as even if slipping the alternator shouldn't be dropping in speed when...
How old are your batteries and have you had them tested?
I noticed a few issues with the voltage not staying steady when I had a bad battery once upon a time.
The 90 amp rating is likely just the startup surge; actual running amps would likely be a lot less than that. It would have to have something like 6 gauge cable in order to have a continuous 90 amp draw.
I don't suppose anyone posted what the duty cycle is on it?
The days of finding those...
I posted this on our FB group, so will put it here also
If everyone doesn't mind moving it forward by one week, I have the space to do it the weekend of the 13/14th here in McCleary. We would also be in the McCleary Bear Festival parade, which is a little smaller than the Napavine one, but not...
