My question would be for the hog head. Can the whole thing be swapped with civilian hog heads from other merit or products. Completely ignoring the hub end gearing.

What about the internals though? Are all parts military only? If they are are the housings able to use civilian parts.

I'll see if I can look up the btu output from our heavy duty trucks. I'm not sure they publish the BTUs directly.

Got it thanks. So do you know the BTUs on the factory dash unit? From what I've heard it cools very well. So I'd say as long as it matches the output or better then it should be fine. Also if you have a large enough battery bank this could be used with the engine off correct?

And I'm looking for one with a C7 in it lol. I am a diesel technician by trade though so I have access to all the tools and software I need to work on these.

You need to put a T fitting on with a pressure guage on so you can see the pressure not just flow. You could have a week pump.

Good deal, Im wanting to get a close look at an M1078 before purchasing to make sure its what we are looking for. I'll have to find you when we get there.
Not sure if anyone saw this but thought this was pretty cool. A few minutes into the episode expedition overland got to take out one of the Acela fmtvs and took it out playing in the snow.

Awesome thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. I really like this idea. It'd be nice if it would be able to read and clear faults as well. Since those ands are generic. You'd have to save the fault info on it somehow but would be nice if you could.
