I often wondered about this conversion!

Not enough power to rationalize this swap. I'm not sure how its possible, but it has even less power than the wimpy stock motor. Just skip that step, and go stright to a Duramax! 355 HP/ 505 TQ. Thats what these trucks deserve.

(M1028A2 is the same with dually setup.) My '86 M1028 has a NP208, delco alts, 3600# payload capacity, 9400#...

It has a 1973-1980 doghouse, grill, and headlights. I think it is just a regular civilian truck with a Hollywood makeover.

    Glow plug/Wait light duration

I had 3 good glow plugs, and my wait light and duration of glow plug cycle was about 4-6 seconds in warm temps. Once all eight were burned out, i could hear the solinoid clicking open and closed in about 1 second intervals. (confirmed with a voltage test). After i replaced glow plugs, it went...

Turn Signal - One not blinking

yeah, check for the correct bulb and, that you insert it correctly, it can fit both ways, but it only works one way. look at the little nubs sticking off the base of the bulb, one is higher than the other. ive also had a loose ground prong on one of the sockets where the bulb twists in.
