I'm beginning to think Wreckerman knows more about the fuel requirements of a Multifuel engine than most of will ever dream of knowing.
Oh Sir, Please tell us about the lacquer thinner incident.
I heard it was kinda funny. Expensive, but funny...
I wonder if it would be easier to have a list of what it should not burn.
Might be shorter.
Straight Gas
Aviation fuel (says so right on the data plate)
Lacquer Thinner ( I heard this from Wreckerman)
What else?
Like the guy said, just because it can, doesn't mean you should. While you can...
I'm trying to figure out how to connect new chain to trailer so it'll reach. WHen I found that the chain wouldn't reach anymore, I wrapped the chain I had bought, in case the chain was too short around the existing chain and connected to teh truck that way. Not very pretty, but....
I notice...
I got the receptacle from Eastern Surplus & Equipment off of a CUCV they were parting out.
Not truly sure about the tire size. I would think any 16" 8 lug GM tire would fit.
It is now dark and I couldn't tell you ATM.
I'm sure you can search for it on the forum.
You asked for them? You got them
Series, Of when I first got the trailer. Notice the rear sag.
Since the hitch fix, the trailer rides much more level.
Sorry, no pictures of it connected with no sag.
1. LEDs installed
2. Trailer rewired to plug into civilian truck, WITHOUT destroying trailer connector.
3. New hitch plate installed. Leveled the trailer up for easier pulling. No more rear up look on trailer.
Needs: new bulb for license plate light. I think I broke it when I was installing it...
So what you're saying is, I need to find that missing one...
Anyone got a spare? ;-)
hmmm or ask the guy I got it from and see if he still has it.
I don't think I have to worry about carriage bolts on the sides, because the canvas doesn't rub there. The top already has them.
So I was able to get a bow and canvas kit for my trailer.
I have a questions about the bows. They all have a metal part attached on the legs with two nut and bolt sets, but I'm not seeing what they actually do. The bow already sit right on the rails. They don't look like they clamp onto...
I would go with the temp lights, myself. Considering NW weather, which can change every 5 minutes, I'd hate to be out rewiring something in the bright sun, only to be caught ina horizontal downpour a few minutes later.
Picture a windy day, okay?
Anyway, take the temp lights, make sure they...
Yes, for the trailer.
I know Ft. Lewis has a kit for the m1078 / M1081 that is going on auction next week. I'm pretty sure that won't fit the m35... Which is too bad...
Nice little road trip.
Somewhere, someone mentioned what the circle and 'X' mean on these.
I also thought the m116 was closer to 1.5 ton capacity.
So, whatcha towing it with?
Oh BTW, I got my Bows and tarp kit last night. Need to get a few nut and bolt sets to complete it, but all looks good.
Pictures to follow!
