Ive bought 2 off ebay. One was like new at $85, from a us seller and the other was new in box for $130 from an italian seller. I too will keep the 3 levers in the cab just incase

Im going with the 90° top and raincap. I like the counterbalance into the wind. I dunno if its right or not. See lots of rigs set that way here. The owl idear is tempting tho. :nothingfunny:
If you havent already, please try state farm. I dunno if this would be applicable to your state but ive had no problem finding insurance thru them. I know your situation is different but i will have to go with a personal commercial policy.
