So not cheap. $3500-5000 depending on voltage/btu. Fits a niche but pricey. I would think that pulling hills with an engine driven a/c would really strain the engine but thats just my opinion brother. I dont remember the company name but found it while searching 24v a/c. Its in Mesa,Az

No brackets for this unit. Its all electric. Not engine driven. I dont want anything robbing power from the engine so ive been exploring alternatives

Sirblissfull, just a cargo m35a2. No winches or wheelchairs in the cab. He has full use of his left leg and arm, limited use of right leg and no use of his right hand. Doghead... no, honestly i dont but... it would be awkward to tell him to get himself a troopseat with an empty cab.. he can...

My father-in-law is partially paralized and im trying to figure out ways to make a duece more "friendly". Im not willing to make a huge noticable mod to the truck tho. So far, the best ive come up with has been lightweight stairs that i could throw in the bed for transport. So...lets have ur ideas

Ive got to figure out how to make mine handicap accessible.....

I used a bob truck (top kick) with a rear mounted winch for a few years. I loaded everything that i could haul with it onto a flat bed with no tail roller. To unload, tie it off to something solid and gently drive forward. Simple and effective. Not to mention very stout

Ive pondered the m36 crew cab, 12' box, singled 6x6 & crewed w/109 box ideas. The a3 looks to be a nice truck, just not my style tho. Im going to start smaller tho. Could always make a trailer from the 36 bed to keep it useful:beer:

Well im bringin the wife, 5year old daughter and my "ball n chain" baby girl too.. i believe i have a couple of items coming so ill have some cash too.

There are self contained non roof mount 24vdc a/c units for aircraft available. Cant remember the name just now. Its under $5k.
