Well today was the day to get some new shoes on M813A1's M813A1. We took advantage of the great weather to install some HEMTT 2 piece wheels and Michelin XL 14R20 tires. I'll post up the pics and let M813A1 give an assessment of the driveability, as I have yet to ride in it!

I towed an M819 with M816 once. It was a slow ride home!

Good looking M819. Definitely a good buy at under $3,000. I think I sold my last one for $6K or $7K, but it was rough. The M819 is better than the M816 in many ways, and I think only the limited availability keeps them being talked about much. They are workhorses!

Were they spinning all at once? Doubtful that you would have lockers in all three axles.

The modules are only 20' but you can haul a 2nd module on a trailer.

The rear axle steers opposite to the front. They set it back 80", but not sure why.

If you see him, introduce him to Steel Soldiers. Several guys on here have fabbed up some impressive lifts to accomodate the 16R20 tires. He might see something that might help him.

Yeah, you have one fine ride. Maybe you should keep it original. You can always upgrade it later to accomodate a LHS.
