Hey Don, first off which turbo do you have? If it is a "C" you might consider swaping to a "D". Also Maxplank has a muffler on his but it fits behind the heat shield. If you ask he might have a pic and description of it. 2cents

Im suprized the front had an issue (its thick) What about trimming the bottom lip on the rear one so it dosnt protrude past the casting? IMO, 10bolts are not worth buying $100's dollars worth of covers for.
