Actually the M1079 uses a box that is specifically built to be directly attached to the frame of what would be a M1078 without the bed. A S-280 box is made to be placed in a M1078 bed and tied down. It will also fit in the bed of a M1083, M1082, M1095.
If you look at the rim itself, the valve stem is in the same position as the steel rim. The stem is directly across from the hollow supply stud. The CTIS wheel valve is the same on these, the only difference being the change in the fitting that attaches to the stem itself. That changed in...
You could also replace the CTIS ecu with one from any other model. The M1088 and M1089 have the following pressure settings: Highway 81 psi, XC 54 psi, sand 32 psi, and emergency 24 psi. All other M10xx have Highway 60 psi, XC 37 psi, sand 22 psi, and emergency 16 psi.

When I got my truck it had a burst return fuel line. Took both lines off and had them made up at my local Parker store. Cost me about $75. I would replace them both.
I picked up a couple of HEMTT air seats at auction awhile back, and installed one in the driver spot and it fit good with just alittle modification to the mounting brackets. The stock seat for me was to low. I like a higher ride and the new seats have alot of adjustments. I will try to get...
