When you say "one prong" are you describing 1 vs. 2 terminals? What didn't work about the one you got?

The TM's state 35-70psi for oil pressure and it's the only information I have to go on. I'm just curious as to how it's normal/fine to run at half of the minimum oil pressure stated in the -10. Please advise.

Something still doesn't seem right IMO. With the new sending unit in mine, it reads 30psi @ 750rpm (idle), and 60psi @ 2500rpm; this of course is at operating temp (160F). If it were my truck, I think I'd replace the sending unit and the gauge at this point just to rule those completely out...

Put the front end up on jack stands and use a prybar to lever the front tires around; you should have no movement at all. If you do, it could be bearings or the king pin bushings worn out.

If you have a shimmy, something is not right.

BTW: After I adjusted the tire pressure accordingly, my truck drives very smooth.
