    it was at an oval track. had winged sprint cars doing 14 second laps on a 1/2 mile track. had an owner ask to stand in the back and watch his car. going back in two weeks for the motorcycle race they are doing. if I had to guess a deuce would run 37-38 second range

    could fly 10,000 feet higher cruising too. reason the sr-71 was so good was they learned all the lessons on the a-12. btw, the first president who knew about the blackbirds was George H. W. Bush, who was director of the cia at the time.
