    XL.are.a directional tire and shoild work well in softer material ..going forward. Not so much in reverse.

    I have never seen a 395 in an XL. To my knowledge they are only available on 14.5, 15.5 1400, & 1600R20s. I have noticed that certain sizes are more location specific. I have not seen very man of the 14.5 or 15.5 come off JBLM

    I re read the first post and got a good look at the pics... Its a little hard to see them good on my phone. The reason why the military lock ring would not fit was because the tire is meant to go on a much wider wheel and the sidewall of the tire bulged too much to accommodate the taller lock...
